A second volume, also bound in boards, has the name, William F. Felix and the date 4 April 1836. It bears the same title as the preceding, but is incomplete, reaching only Chap. 4. The hand is excellent.

DESCRIPTION: Undated, complete (24 chaps) MS of "On the Duties of Lay Brothers." Bound within boards, the first three pages are loose. No author, translator, or date appears. The MS is done in about four different hands, all good, one excellent.

DESCRIPTION: Bound within boards. Above title appears on title page with date. The second title page reads, "A Treatise by Father Lancisius, S.J., On the duties of those who are admitted into Religious Orders for Manual Employments, & of the excellence of that state which renders them very pleasing in the Eyes of God & his Saints. Translated from the Latin by M. Magan Novice of the Society. Georgetown College 1808." Complete in 24 chaps.
